September Reading!

  • Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card | I’ve been in the middle of this book ever since summer began. I’ve just been dying to finish it already!
  • The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan | Surprisingly, I didn’t connect much with the Harry Potter Series. But hopefully, I can dive into a much needed fantasy joyride!
  • The Book Thief by Markus Zusak | I just started this one today, and can’t wait to dive into the world of the Holocaust and hopefully learn much more about it, all the while having a joyous read!
  • Legend by Marie Lu | So what’s with the hype on this? I hope it’s as good as everyone says it is!

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak #27 | Booklog #2
And so after about a month of doing nothing, I’ve pulled myself out of my reading slump, and picked up my long-awaited-to-be-read, The Book Thief.
For some reason, I don’t know much about the Holocaust. I know what it was, I know who led it, but I’ve never spent a long while truly in-depth with the concept. And oh boy, this very intriguing book will definitely pull me into the time of the Holocaust, and hopefully teach me a lot more about it.

Book Photo Challenge, Day 1: Whatcha Reading?
I started reading the Beautiful Creatures series in May. With many books in between, I finally started the third in the series: Beautiful Chaos. I only have about 110 pages left to read.

Wonder by R.J. Palacio #24 | Booklog #1
I just have to say that this amazing book has changed my life. Although I’m only about 250 pages in, I’ve already made a life-changing decision.
I’m truly thankful to Mrs. Palacio for writing this book and touching my heart forever. Please, if you ever get the chance, please read this. I’m barely half-way through the book and I’m already making choices I would never have made.
This book has opened my eyes.
